If you’re struggling to find your purpose and passion in life, one of the things that may be stopping you is the (subconscious) belief that maybe there is no purpose for you. Because finding your purpose in life is not a simple task, a lot of people resign to giving up and just accepting that their life is meaningless and their only ambition is to survive another day.

I’d like to offer you a different belief, if you choose to accept it. This is a belief that I recently heard about which really inspired me. That belief is that there are no extra people out there. Meaning, every person on earth is important. Every person on earth has a purpose. God or the Universe or whatever it is that you call higher power didn’t create any “extra” people without purpose. Everyone has a role to play, including you.

Just because you haven’t fully connected with it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. If one person is here for a specific purpose then all people are here for a specific purpose. So if you’re going to believe that there might not be any purpose for you, you’d have to also believe that there is no purpose for anyone, because it really wouldn’t make sense for some people to have a purpose and other people to have no purpose, would it?

Think about all the people out there that are inspired and seem live their lives on purpose. Realize that the inspiration available to them is also available to you no matter who you are, because there are no extra people out there.
