Last week I wrote an article on how to use AdSense to Make Money Blogging. In the article I spoke about Joel Comm’s new book, Adsense Secrets 4, and how it helped me to increase my AdSense earnings. As some of you may already well know, Joel issued a public apology shortly thereafter because some users were not clear on the fact that during the initial order process, Joel also asks for your permission to subscribe to his Top 1% Report which costs $29.95/month.

Of course you are more than welcome to receive the initial report for free and then cancel your subscription right after words and not pay another penny, but apparently this type of billing structure doesn’t sit well with everyone.

In either case, Joel went ahead and apologized for his mistake, and now very clearly shows the two options available to you when ordering the eBook.

If you ordered the eBook and inadvertently subscribed to the newsletter without realizing it, you will need to cancel the subscription otherwise it will automatically start sending you the newsletters and charging you the monthly fee. I just thought I’d let my readers know about this in case you missed that part of the ordering process and would like to cancel the subscription.

If you purchased the eBook in the last few days, the sales page copy has already been updated to show the two different options very clearly so I don’t think it should be a problem.

Either way, I just though I’d let my readers know about the update. I still stand by my initial recommendation of the book as I think it is jam packed with some solid value for the price he’s asking for it.
